Biography

With more than 30 years of professional experience in business, government and non-profit organizations, Jane Martel works to ensure that patrons experience the best of Arapahoe Libraries, which consists of eight libraries in Arapahoe County, Colorado. As the organization’s Senior Project Manager, she develops and delivers customer service training for more than 300 employees, manages the patron feedback system and administers patron surveys. Drawn to the power of data to solve work challenges, Martel uses her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Quality Process Analyst certifications to improve internal processes that impact patrons. She earned a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from the University of Maine, as well as a business certificate from the University of Louisville.
